Fiberglass Ceiling Domes
First Class manufactures a line of standard one piece fiberglass ceiling domes ranging from 3’ in diameter to 7’ in diameter. We have between 2 and 4 different heights to accommodate most ceiling depths. First Class domes are lightweight and extremely durable. Our ceiling domes come with a 2” flange built around the perimeter so they can easily be installed to your framing.

Ceiling Dome Cove Lighting Shelf
In addition, First Class offers a one piece fiberglass light shelf for each dome diameter size which has the same flange system for ease of installation. We also have one piece fiberglass trim rings to decorate the edge of the dome. The trim ring also serves to hide the gap between the dome edge and the drywall (and/or drop ceiling systems) making the final installation seamless.

Ceiling Dome Details
We’ve been making ceiling domes for over 20 years for many residential and commercial customers. First Class domes are installed in foyers, bedrooms, home theaters, bathrooms, gazebos, churches, lobbies, casinos, condos. One of our largest domes is 48’ in diameter installed at the Lazy Boy showroom in High Point, NC. We recently finished a 37’ elliptical dome for the Nixon Library to replicate the Oval Office of the White House. Both of those projects required extensive planning and coordination to make them successful. From the planning stages through production and the installation, we worked closely with the general contractor and installer.
